Happy Monday Lovelies! You sweet things have been blowing up my email, asking for more ice cream recipes. Well over this past weekend I tried out a new recipe. I was going to make our standard vanilla ice cream and then a thought came to me...what if I used my root beer extract? I thought it and then I did and boy am I glad I did! This ice cream is just like having a root beer float. Creamy yummy goodness with a cherry on top! It is so simple to make and perfect for all you lovelies in the summer hemisphere. Root Beer Float Ice Cream

3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup 2% milk
2 tbl root beer extract

whip cream and cherries for topping

Whisk together all ingredients until combined. Transfer to your ice cream maker. Follow your maker's instructions to make soft-serve texture ice cream. Freeze overnight for a stiff, traditional ice cream texture. Top with homemade whip cream and a cherry on top of course!
