5 Minute Buttercream Frosting

This is a quick recipe for homemade frosting, which I personally thinks is the cheapest and best tasting. It is found on the back of the C&H powdered sugar package.
1 lb. box of Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup of milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 stick of butter (softened)

Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes, scraping bowl often. For thinner consistency add milk a little at a time. Frosts one 8-inch 2 layer cake.

I used my batch of icing to frost 2 dozen cupcakes, with much left over. I of course added a little yellow food coloring to brighten up our cupcakes for our Family Home Evening (FHE) treat.
