Chocolate Drizzled Popcorn
3/4 cups of un-popped pop corn. I put mine in my air popper. Once it was popped I drizzled melted butter over it and then sprinkled it with salt. In the mean time I had one bag of chocolate chips melting on the stove (a microwave would make this easier, but we don't have one). I also added a bit of milk to the chocolate to make the chocolate thinner and easier to work with. Once the chips were completely melted I used a spoon to drizzle it over the popcorn and sprinkled it with rainbow sprinkles. I let it sit for a few minutes, which allows for the chocolate to dry. We ate this while watching the movie. It was a simple and yummy dessert for little hands.
Haha! We saw that movie in the theatre because Pavel wanted to see it (since he used to be a security guard.) It was cheesy (in a cute way.) I don't know why Kevin James reminds me of my Uncle it's not like he looks like him or anything :-P
ReplyDeleteOh, and yesterday P and I totally ate peanut butter with Ghiradeli semisweet chocolate chips :-P
Actually, I was just thinking -- that kinda looks like the cereal/pretzel/popcorn/whatever concoctions we would make to munch on and watch movies under our makeshift blanket tents.
ReplyDeleteWe have 4 kids so we go yo the actual movies possibly once a year and its the 2,50 theatre. Csuse the snacks are still main theatre prices. So for our movie nights we do this......hubby makes stovetop popcorn and we have a variety of salts ect or every now n again add choc chips n mini marshmallows.
