Afternoon friends!! I hope everyone's Saturday is turning out to be a good one. We've had some serious wind here lately, which has made my allergies not so fun. I did get a few videos filmed today though, since I am staying indoors. I've got to wait for the crazy wind to die down and for my eyes to stop itching.
I can't wait to upload my new videos for you all. You are such an encouraging lot. I am not always very good at picking up my camera and filming, but when I do you are right there. Taking pictures is one thing, but for some reason I always forget to film. I'm trying to be better at it I swear. I guess I go through spurts. All you regular youtube mamas, I tip my hat to you. You guys rock and are always so inspiring. I want to be like you when I grow up ;)
At the beginning of this month, the kids and I made a trip to Costco for some monthly goodies. We are eating from our pantry and freezer as much as we can over the next few months. My freezer chest has to be cleaned out by the end of July, so all of my shopping and menu planning is based upon everything I find in there.
In this video I share what we bought and what meals we will be eating. I have another video I filmed today, sharing what produce we bought on another trip and an updated menu plan. I'll try to share that one later this week. For now though, I have a Costco haul for you all. Enjoy it and let me know what other videos you want to see. I need a bit of inspiration, so I can get my youtuber bum in gear.
Also did you notice my new digs around here? I've been busy redecorating the blog. I hope you like it :)
Have a fabulous day friends!! You rock!!
XO Danielle
Thanks for posting, again! I watched your most recent haul video just prior to doing my shopping. It really got me motivated to meal plan and shop the healthy sales!
ReplyDeleteOh I am so glad! I do the same thing before shopping. I love watching people's hauls. It gives me a lot of great ideas :)
DeleteHealthy shopping trip Danielle!!! WOOT WOOT!! BTW-Have you ever tried putting the grapes in the freezer? They make an AWESOME snack, especially during the long HOT dog days of summer. I've only tried using the green grapes, but I guess if you prefer red grapes you could try it with those also!! Glad to see/hear that you and your family are trying to avoid anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup in it. That stuff is what is contributing to our society becoming obese and getting type 2 Diabetes!! I'm VERY impressed with all the veggies I saw in your video!!! Hope your family is doing well, and I can't wait to see more videos/pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI tried the grapes once and was not a huge fan...I think because I don't like popsicles unless it is crazy hot outside. I might try again then when July hits here. It gets REALLY hot.
DeleteLove the grocery hauls and menus! The blog looks great! It's one of my go to's when I need inspiration!
ReplyDeleteaww I am so glad! That seriously makes my day :)
