In January, Miss Libby turned nine. I can't believe my little red headed baby is nine years old. I swear I just blinked once and she was all grown. Where did the time go?
This sweet girl wanted to have a dance party with friends. Glow sticks were bought at Wal-mart in bulk and we went homemade with the cake and decor to keep costs down. She really wanted to do her own decorating, so I got some simple crepe paper streamers and balloons. She had a lot of fun setting things up before the party.
We invited friends and family over to play the wii and have some yummy food. We ate $5 pizzas from Little Ceasars. I paired that with fruit and veggies, which my sisinlaws brought over. We drank lemonade. I used my easy peasy lemonade recipe. It's one of my kiddos favorites.
We had a fun night celebrating with friends and family. We are so thankful for this sweet girl in our lives. She is going to be an a amazing big sister!
XO Danielle
Absolutely love family birthdays at home! :)
ReplyDeleteHer birthday was in January? I thought it was just a little more recently. Either way, Happy Birthday Libby!!
ReplyDeleteNoticed your blog from The Little Farm Diary, how delightful! I love how you did the bday party without spending a ton of money and let your kiddo help, now that is a good memory.
