You Can Steer...

Remember how last week I shared the Be You print that Miss Priss had been displaying throughout our house? Well when I made the print for her, I wanted an encouraging print for the boy as well. Words have so much power. I've really been wanting to enshroud my family in good words. Words that make us want to try new things...to soar to different heights.

I found this quote by Dr. Seuss and knew it was perfect for Keagan. We have so much power folks. If we only realized the power we have to do such amazing things in life. We've been talking to keagan a lot about that and how we are the captains of our own ship. We decide which way we sail. We can choose to use our time on this Earth to gain knowledge and serve the Lord, or we can choose to go in a totally different direction.

I'm thankful for my boy who is very concerned with where he steers his ship. He so wants to go in the right direction. It's a process and although he may take a wrong turn or two,we know we can always redirect ourselves back to Christ. He is always there with open arms.....waiting for us to come back home. 

I'm so thankful for this Mom gig I've been blessed with. It is not for the faint of heart. It's a messy, exhausting business...but it has the greatest reward.
