I am still playing catch up on some of my blogging. This blog is not just my journal to frugal living, but a family journal as well. It is a scrapbook of sorts, where my kids will be able to look back and see what we were doing in our different seasons of life. So with that in mind, I am trying to work my way threw our many pictures from this past summer.
Today I am sharing about when we went and saw our local baseball team play. My sweet brotherinlaw and sisinlaw took us to a 51's game a while back. It was the first time for the kids in going to a baseball game.
If there was ever someone to have with us when the kids experienced their first baseball game, it was Aunt Shelly and Uncle Rei. They made it a HUGE experience, which my red heads were over the moon about. They had noise makers, glow sticks, necklaces, and more. They love making it fun for the kids and they totally did. They are big kids themselves!
The kids cheered, ate, laughed, and more. It was a fun game. We didn't get to stay for the whole game, as it got late and Miss Priss was getting close to her expiration date, but we made it pretty close.
Thank you Aunt Shelly and Uncle Rei for a great time! It was definitely a fun night for the whole family :)
XO Danielle
We really enjoyed going to baseball games with our kids when they were little and the local "farm teams" were always the most fun! What a great family tradition. P.S. My blog is also like a scrapbook/journal as is the one I have for my missionary son. I will have his blog printed and published in a book when he comes home - a lifelong memory of his "best two years!"
