For family night this week we ventured out to the Shark Reef. The kids had earned tickets during the summer. It was a prise for participating in the library's summer reading challenge. Our library has been doing this program for a few years, so it has been nice to get to visit the Shark Reef each year. Normally it would be too expensive for our family, but with littles earning their tickets this family activity becomes more budget friendly. The kids got to see all kinds of fish and reptiles. Oh yeah the Shark Reef has more then just sharks! :) The "petting the sting ray" exhibit has got to be their favorite. Who doesn't love petting a stingray? Well not this momma, but the red heads sure like it. I would say this family night was an absolute hit!

ReplyDeleteThanks lady! I try to keep it exciting for the littles:) I hope it encourages other families to get out and spend time together.
