Ok I know I know! I have basically sucked at meal planning lately. I was really good at the beginning of the year...for like three weeks, but I have been on a steady decline ever since. I am meal planning every month in real life, but getting my real life menu plan onto this blog takes a whole lot of effort. Because of this I changed up how I was doing everything. I decied everything had to be typed up, so then it was much more convient for me to post it here on the blog.
All your comments asking for more meal plans has encouraged me to make this change. I love hearing how so many of you are making changes and saving money for your families. That is freakin A-mazing! I love every single one of you and knowing that these meal plans are helping your families is seriously amazeballs. I am just flabbergasted!
So what I have done is broken down my meal plan into 5 weeks. I am offering everything here in this post, but I will also be posting the weekly meal plans on Mondays. I have already scheduled those posts, so there shouldn't be a problem there (I'll keep my fingers crossed). So now whether you are a monthly shopper or a weekly shopper, you will be able to have planned meals, to keep your family on budget. I am also sharing thrifty shopping/cooking tips and tricks throughout this months meal plan. All my tips and tricks are ones I have learned from Cut Your Grocery Bill in Half with America's Cheapest Family

This is great- thanks for sharing! My favourite meatball recipe is one where you roll the uncooked balls in flour then freeze them. Then you cook them in the crock pot with marina sauce. We make about 120 at a time then portion them for serving sizes. Such a time saver!
ReplyDeleteSo cool to see someone else do a monthly meal plan! I do the same thing except my meal plan runs mid-month to mid-month. I totally agree with you that the actual meal planning isn't half as much work as getting everything up in blog land. I spend way more time just typing up recipes and grocery list, but all worth it to keep myself organized :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post, thanks for sharing!
