Today I want to share a fun Halloween project with you. These are easy to make and kid friendly. Last year I made several and gave them as teacher gifts.
The Masked Pumpkin
Source - All You
Supply List:
*Plain white printer paper
*Mask Template (download from here)
*Black Felt
*White Chalk
*Rickrack - I used orange.
*Craft Glue or Glue Gun
*Black Ribbon
*Pumpkin - I used a faux pumpkin so I can
reuse this every year.
*Googly Eyes
Directions:
1. Print and cut out template.
2. Place template on black felt and use chalk to trace it, including eye holes. Cut out mask and eye holes.
3. Decorate mask with rickrack. I used my glue gun because the craft glue wasn't adhering. Plus, you don't have to wait for the glue to dry, if you're impatient like me!
4. Cut ribbon into 2 lengths. Attach a ribbon to each side of mask, glueing ends to inside corners (wrong side).
5. Tie mask around pumpkin. When mask is in position, glue googly eyes on pumpkin.
Here is my masked pumpkin . . .
Isn't he just the cutest!!
