Happy Monday all! This past week was our first week back to school. It was one full of giggles and tears, both are always present during school. I was very nervous leading up to the new school year. I always am. I wonder if when I am a five year home school veteran, if I will still be nervous. We had an awesome week and it reminded me why I love to teach my children. I love it when I see the light bulb go off in there head and they just get it. It is such a rewarding feeling. I love seeing my son's love for reading grow. I love how my little Miss couldn't wait to start kindergarten this year. Every day she encourages me to start early. The anticipation of the days lessons are just too exciting for her. They are my life and I am so thankful for them and this time I have with them. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father who inspired me and impressed it upon my heart that home-schooling was the path for us. It is a challenging one, but a rewarding one. I know it is through Him that I am able to persevere.
As I have been reflecting this week, I have thought of my little bloggy. I so love to blog, but like some of my other homeschooling friends, I may not be able to blog as frequently. I don't won't this blog to ever become a chore, where I feel I must keep posting each day to keep up with all the other fabulous bloggers out there, so this is what I will be doing. I am going to try to still share a recipe or craft with you each week. I love crafting and sharing. It brings me joy. I am going to share what we do in school. Originally when this blog started, that was the purpose. Summer happened and somehow my little bloggy of 50 followers, turned into a craft blog of 228. You guys are amazing and are always so sweet with your comment love.
I will still have guest bloggers. I love having guests. If any of you want to share a new or old post. E-mail me I would love to have you.
I hope that this Labor Day you are able to relax and rest for this upcoming week. I am thankful for this time and think it is a perfect time for a trip to the Carousel. The carousel in our city was free during the summer and we took advantage. We went a few times during the summer and the littles loved every single minute. Here are some pictures from our adventures.
I hope you are able to get outside with your littles
and find the joy in the little moments with them.
