So here is another quick post to update you on what we have been doing for our V-Day cout down. We played St. Valentine Says, which is just like simon says. Then we were suppose to make Valentine shirts, but I had forgotten to buy white shirts for my littles or the paint to helps us to decorate them. I just really didn't want to go tempt myself at a craft store this month. I literally have no self control when it comes to Joann's and clearance. So I decided to make a fun, yummy treat with them instead. I found this while blog hopping, but can not for the life of me remember where. If you are reading this thank you for the idea and tell me who you are, so I can give you the credit you deserve. Anyways here is what I did:
** Thaw refrigerate pie crust to room temp. Cut 8 hearts shapes out and sprinkle bottoms with butter and cinnamon and sugar. Place a marshmallow in the middle (on top of butter and cinnamon) and top with second pie crust heart. Bake at 425 for about 7 minutes and let cool slightly. These were oh so yummy and of course fun to add to our V-day countdown activity list. **

For Day 10, I followed the directions here to make this fun craft with my littles.
So there we go, that is what we have been up to. Today we will be making Valentine shortcake, which Miss Priss is super excited about. Hope your day is filled with loving fun. Have a wonderful weekend.
