I Have Been Tagged!

I have been tagged! Mrs. Modern Country has tagged me and given me a list of questions to post here on Blissful and Domestic. This should be a fun getting to know you post:> Who you still like me afterwards..ha ha just kidding. anyways here I go.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Well I kid you not I have always wanted to be a mom. I remember my friends Stevie and Christie would play dolls all the time. Now when I say dolls I don't mean we played it for an hour and moved onto something else. I mean we really committed. We would do it for days. I took it seriously. I even remember once Stevie wanting to have a dinosaur as a baby, instead of a baby doll. I couldn't believe she would want a dumb dino instead of an actually baby doll. This shows you how mommy crazy I was at a young age. I see this in my 3 year old daughter now, and it just makes my heart want to burst. It is such a beautiful thing to see them practicing so young for the wonderful task God has blessed us with.

So I guess I am living the dream already at 26. It is awesome!

Side note though, I do want to eventually finish my degree for Special Elementary Education, but I figure right now I am doing the most important thing I can and that is teaching my children. I am thankful for each day I get to do this

What do you like most about where you live?

I love the weather here. I know it is literally boiling outside when it is well over 100 here in Vegas, but I love it! The only thing I wish we had were seasons.

 

I miss the fall leaves we had in Washington, but I guess my hot dry weather is a good trade off :>

If you could only rescue three things from your house what would they be?

Well if my family was already out of my house I would rescue....

1)My scriptures. They are so precious to me. They still have my maiden name on them. I have had them since I was 15. They were the scriptures I read when I truly learned about my Savior. They are priceless to me.

2)On a less spiritual note and much more materialistic one...I would have to have my Ipod touch. That calendar holds my life. Each day is planned out. I don't know what I would do without it... embarrassing I know, but I love to be organized and it helps me out.

3) My CTR ring.When I became active in the church again I noticed a lot of LDS girls wearing CTR rings. They just looked so beautiful and are such a wonderful reminder of Heavenly Father and our choice to choose to follow him.. My grandpa gave it to me for Christmas one year and I have loved it ever since.

What's your favourite book?

My all time favorite book is a tie between the Twilight series and The Choice by Nicholas Sparks. I am a sucker for a good romance book.

What's your favourite room in your house?

The kitchen. I spend my most time in there cleaning and cooking. It just makes me happy to create wonderful things in there.

What's your favourite joke?

ummm...I really can't think of anyone. I totally have no clue how to answer this one. Can I pass?

What would you most like to change about your house?

Well considering the fact that we live in a small apartment, I guess I would want more space, but in actuality I love our little apartment. I am thankful to be living here and to be able to decorate and create a home here for us.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Absolutely I do. I am a hopeless romantic. I knew very soon after meeting my husband that he was the one. I knew it would take time for him to realize it, but I knew he was going to become my world. He is just amazing and is truly my Happily Ever After.
