Change, Wisdom, or Lousy Writers?

Something quite strange happened tonight. I realized that I think I have changed quite a lot in the last year or so. I had requested a particular show from the library. I was so excited when it came in. I even made an extra trip to the library today to pick it up, nerdy I know, but I really liked this show. I haven't seen it in over a year. I was happy to be able to finally get caught up on the show and all the happenings with the characters. I put in the DVD and was ready for some relaxation and entertainment. Boy was I disappointed. There was no story line. It was all about who was going to get with who. I was really shocked. I guess that means that either my taste in good shows has changed or the writers just suck now. Who knows...all I know is I was suppose to be vegging out in front of the TV tonight and instead I am surfing blogs and possible craft projects to attempt tonight. I guess that is way more productive than zoning out in front of the old TV. Anyways has anyone had moments like this? Moments where you realize you have either grown in years or hopefully wisdom? My moment was tonight.
