Fall Decorations

I have been inspired by the cover of Woman's Day magazine cover for October found here.There were such cute ideas on how to do simple inexpensive decorations for Fall/Halloween. I decided I could wait no longer and had to start crafting and decorating for Halloween/Fall. It may be 100 degrees outside, but in my home I feel autumn coming my way. I can't wait! Anyways here is a simple craft I did this evening. I went to Wal-Mart and bought to bunches of flowers in orange and yellow. They were $3.00 each. I also bought a bag of candy corn for 88 cents. I took an 2 old vases I had and filled it with the candy corn and then added the flowers. This was such a simple craft and my littles had fun helping me out. They took turns pouring candy corn and of course sampling it as well. And here are some pictures of my decorating efforts tonight. We have a small 2 bedroom apartment, but I love it and I had so much fun decorating :) Have a wonderful rest of your week and please fall come soon....I'm ready to drink hot cocoa and wear fuzzy warm slippers :> Anyone else with me on that one?
