1 bag of chicken breast (frozen boneless skinless)
Seasoning:
Lawry's
onion powder
2 handful of dehydrated onions(can use fresh onion as well)
2 tbl butter
BASE:
1 tbl chicken bouillon base
2 cans chicken broth
1 tbsp mushroom bouillon base
1 tbsp vegetable bouillon base
Campbell's Soup Portion:
1can cream of chicken
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream celery
1pkg cream cheese (8oz)
1 1/2 pint whipping cream
1bag frozen mix vegetables ( I sometime use whatever leftover veggies)
What To Do:
Turn Crockpot on and add butter. Place chicken in crockpot and pour broth over it. Season chicken. Then add onions on top of chicken.Cook in Crockpot on low heat(best to start this early in the morning around 9).
Once chicken is thoroughly cooked (probably around 2 depending on how your Crockpot cooks. Mine seems to cook fast). Take chicken out of pot and shred. Place back into Crockpot and add base ingredients. Add soups and mix vegetables to crockpot as well. Mix. Once heated back up add cream cheese and stir well. Then add whipping cream. Stir well, Serve and Enjoy!
** Sometimes if I feel it is not as thick as I would like it I add wondra flour to thicken it up a bit. It works wonders :> no pun intended.
I hope you enjoy this recipe! It is oh so yummy all year round, but especially when the temperatures are lower. It is rich and creamy and goes very well with some crackers, corn bread, or my homemade rolls found here.

This looks delicious. I'm definitely going to have to try this soon! Thanks for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteSo, do you put the chicken in the slow cooker frozen, or do you thaw it first?
ReplyDeleteI don't think my comment saved. Are the chicken breasts frozen or thawed when you put them in the crock-pot?
ReplyDeleteSusie, In my experience you can put meat in frozen, and start the slow cooker on high for an hour or so to get it cooking, and then turn it down to low. Or you can thaw your chicken in the fridge overnight before you begin.
