Offering Hospitality Recipe Swap: Picnic Theme

Crystal over at Offering Hospitality is doing a new monthly post that I thought I would participate in. It is a themed recipe swap. I love trying out new recipes and am excited to share some of my own with you. Hopefully you guys have some time to hop on over there and check out some of the yummy recipes that have been posted. Anyways I am going to share Bubbas favorite fruit salad recipe. He is always so happy when I make this and I swear you just can't get enough of it. It is so tasty and oh so simple!

Pistachio Fruit Salad

2 cans of mandarin oranges (drained)
1 can of pineapple tidbits or chunks (partially Drained)
2 bananas (cut into chunks)
1 can of fruit cocktail (drained)
1/2 a bag of mini marshmallows
1 pkg of instant pistachio pudding mix
1 tub of Cool Whip

In a large bowl combine all the fruit (you will want some of that pineapple juice to help flavor the salad, which is why you only partially drain the liquid out of the can). Then mix in the marshmallows. Add the tub of cool whip and mix. Then just add the instant pudding and mix well. You will know you have mixed in all the pudding when your salad turns green. Then chill and  Enjoy!

This is a family favorite of mine and I hope you guys are able to enjoy it as well. Oh and it is an awesome food storage recipe
