This mom gig...

I love this mom gig. It's been going strong for 12+ years and I have loved every single minute of it. Yes it gets hard and messy and some times real frustrating, but boy is it rewarding. Seeing my sweet boy come out his shy shell or hearing his boisterous laugh, when I tell a joke.... Seeing my red headed girl create beauty on a sheet of paper or when she says goodnight for the millionth time...she really just like extra hugs....or when my little squish cuddles with mama or when she belly laughs for the first time. These are all moments that fill my Mom heart with absolute gratitude.... These are the moments that remind me how truly sacred the job of Mom is. You work hand in hand with the Lord, raising the next generation, and that's simply amazing. Yeah this mom gig is my favorite :)

    I am so happy that I came upon your blog today!! I woke up feeling discouraged and cranky about a whole lot of things today, and my whole attitude was just screaming for an adjustment. After reading some of your blog, I already feel so much better, knowing that there are other mommies out there who love, and I mean really love taking the job of parenting seriously.
