Happy Sunday friends! I got up early this morning...well really the baby got me up early and when she went back to bed I decided to forgo the extra bit of sleep and try out a few fun things with my video editing. I love the process of editing and learning how to do new things. It is always so fun. I worked on a new series for the channel, lovingly titled "Cook with Me". Sounds fun right? It was originally "Cook with Danielle", but as you'll see in the video, my kids thought that title was too silly and needed to be modified. I decided to take their advice. ::smile::
Today we're making cinnamon roll waffles. I shared them a while back on my instagram and thought it was about time for a simple tutorial. These things are super easy to make. With high speed editing I was able to get them done in under 4 minutes. In reality they take about ten minutes, including prep time. ::wink::
I used the generic cinnamon roll tubes that Fry's had on sale this past week for 97 cents. They had a huge buy 10 save $5 sale. I'll be sharing that haul later this month. I got some good stuff. Anyway I've included the recipe below, a new recipe card for your collection (I've been printing mine out at Costco), and the full video tutorial. 1 tube of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
Place individual cinnamon rolls on a hot, greased waffle iron. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Remover from iron and allow to cool for 1-2 minutes. Top with icing and enjoy!
