First, I've chosen lots of little vintage bottles to display my greens. I collect these little containers from thrift stores and flea markets and have a whole cabinet full of these little treasures. Once our perennials begin blooming, I'll be bringing in lots of blossoms all summer. For now, I'm content with clipping my lemon thyme, Russian sage, and rosemary, along with some super fragrant flame honeysuckle that grows in abundance on our garden arbor. Once up on the mantel, these fresh greens really breathe some life into this little space and the best part, it's all free. Love that!
So there you have it, a super easy and free way to freshen up your spaces.
Thanks y'all for joining me today.

So pretty ... Love greenery.
ReplyDeleteJust love the idea of bringing the greens inside and using them for your decor! I've been collecting glass bottles that we have used and save them. These would be perfect for this, I could just tie a bow of burlap or cheery ribbon around them, and use them for decor. Thanks for the great inspiration :)
