My Miss Priss and Bubba wanted new stockings this year. Hello Kitty for the miss and Star Wars for the boy. Luckily I had fabric that fit both requests in my stash. I love when that happens:)
I started out by chalking the outline of a stocking on my fabric. I folded my fabric in half and then in half again. This made it so that when I cut out my stocking pattern I would have 4 separate stockings.
I put my 4 stockings into pairs. Take each pair and sew the tops, right sides together. Like the picture above.
Now you have two pieces, where each pair of stockings have their tops sewn together.
I then placed both pieces on top of each other, right sides together. I sewed all around the edges, but left a small opening to pull my fabric through.
Once you pull your fabric right side out, you can sew up your opening.
Once my opening was sewn, I pushed one stocking into the other.
Next I added some ribbon to hang my stocking.
Miss Priss and Bubba are very excited for their new stockings. They can't wait for all the goodies that will await them Christmas morning and I can't wait to fill the stockings either!
I am officially done sewing for Christmas and I still have a bit of time to spare. Thank the heavens! Now I just need to convince the Hubbs to watch Four Christmases with me.
I am taking a break from the Feature Friday Link Party,

Those are adorable! I love this idea. With different fabrics, I could personalize for all of my family members! I'm going to have to learn to sew better so I can do this :) Merry Christmas!
