Thanksgiving: Make a Festive Childrens Table

Hello Blissful and Domestic Readers!  It's Lorie from Reading Confetti again!  It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving will soon be upon us.  I remember sitting at the kids' table wondering what it would be like to be big enough to sit at the grown-ups' table. Now that it's happened, I want to be back where the fun is!  So today I have some ideas for the kids' table this Thanksgiving:

Decorations:
Lay down some butcher or easel paper and crayons and have the kids decorate their own Thanksgiving tablecloth.

Before the big day, make some of these napkin rings from paper towel rolls:

Treats:
These edible pilgrim hats are always a hit at our kids' table:
or have the kids decorate their own cupcakes:

Entertainment:
Steve Spangler Science has an extensive list of fun table tricks for after the meal including this toothpick star:

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you get to spend at least a little time at the kids' table!
