Alright I am on my last post of my Holiday Wrap up...
Onto New Year's Eve...
Every year we have a tradition. On New Year's Eve we go to my sisinlaw's house for a potluck dinner and a night of games. This years theme was Mexican food. There was Enchiladas, tamales, homemade tortilla chips and dip, chocolate fondue and the list goes one. We like to have a HUGE selection. We basically want to eat all night and not think a wink about the calories being consumed. Yep that is how my family rolls. We are all about the yumminess when it comes to our food:)

Once all the food is consumed and we literally feel like our waist bands can not stretch anymore we start the games. Now the first game we play has become a 4 year long tradition. Every year we have a Nerf war. It is the one time a year EVERYONE...and I mean EVERYONE plays. There are team captains picked...darts are marked...everyone is given a gun. The rules are set...no shooting in the face and if you cry you can't play. We are all about keeping our littles tough:)
Oh and we have rounds that are timed!
Yep we are that serious when it comes to Nerf War.

Once the Nerf War is over, we of course snap some pictures and the
ladies get dessert ready.
Those littles and our guys work up an appetite while defending their Nerf Title.
We had a variety of cakes and fondue..
Oh so yummy!
Once the sweets are eaten
(well this never really ends we go back for seconds and thirds all night)
is over it is time for the video games.
My brotherinlaw brought an extra TV into the living room, so the guys can play there games and us girls could play Just Dance. It rocked!
Robert kicked my can in Just Dance. He totally had no problem hanging out with us and showing us how you really "jump on it" and "Pump it" in Just Dance.
It was a fun night. I totally thought we would only stay until 8:30, but we had way to much fun. We stayed till 1 am! Yep my little red heads made it that long. It was crazy!
Luckily on Sunday they didn't wake up till 10, which I was thankful for.
New Year's was a blast!!
Thank you Holly and Justin for opening your home up to EVERYONE, so we can continue to have fun each year. This is one of my Favorite holiday traditions!
