Do you ever have one of those moments where you look at your children and all of a sudden it is like time has caught up to you and your seeing them for what they really are? Grown up six year olds who are breaking your heart because sometimes they call you Mom instead of Momma or Mommy? Well that happened today. I was doing dishes and hubby told me to come look at Bubbba. We were looking at his profile and hubby said "He isn't little any more" We stood there watching all quiet. Watching our little red headed boy, who looks so gigantic to us right now. Not my little man who was my bud when Jason was deployed. He was always there and it was just the two of us. I looked at Hubby and told him I couldn't believe it either and that it made me want to cry. He then replied "you just ruined it with getting all emotional" he laughed and walked away. Leave it to my emotionless hubby to ruin the moment me and my emotions to ruin the moment.
To my bubba. You are an amazing Little boy, who really is not that little. You already are acting so much more grown than your six years. You make me so proud everyday. I love your crazy expressions, witty comebacks, and adorable freckles and red hair. Thank you for always being my sweet boy and although sometimes you call me Mom, I hope you know Mommy will always love you and be here for you.
I love you Bubbaloo:>
