So I have been thinking a lot about wanting something fun to do on the weekends, here on Blissful and Domestic. Sometimes having a theme makes posting a little easier. I love coming up with fun things to share with you guys all week long, and the weekends are no different. I have been thinking a lot about how great Hair Week was and how I got such a HUGE response from my Simply Updo and French Braid with a Twist posts. I couldn't believe I got like 900 hits one day. I guess you all love to hear about hair too. I have had a few friends ask me to start posting more hair stuff and your requests have been answered. I am now starting Sassy Saturdays. I may not do it ever Saturday, but will definitely try to do it often. I am going to share a new fun, and of course sassy, style for all us ladies out there. And hey if you have one to share also and want to be a guest. Shoot me an e-mail I would love to share the spotlight with all your fabulous ladies.
So enough of my mumbo jumbo on to the Sassy Saturday Hair Tute for today. The Frenchy Updo...
This one is pretty simple and straightforward. It is a blend between two hairstyles. The first one I saw over at Yours, Mine, and Ours.Meredith shared how she does her FrenchBraid pony. Well I took it one step further and added in the Sassy Side Bun. I think they mesh pretty well. What do you think?
Note: I have shoulder length hair
Oh and if your wondering about my hairclip? Super simple. I made a Yoyo and hotglued a button onto it. Super simple and super cute, if I don't say so myself:>
Hope your Saturday is fantabulous!
See you tomorrow lovelies:>
Very cute! And sassy :) My hair is still too short for most of the ideas, but I'll keep them for later.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is gorgeous. My hair is very similar length and texture, so I can't wait to give this a try!!
