Sewing Quickie: Little Sunday Skirt

Howdy ya'll. Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is starting out well. Yesterday was spent cleaning and catching up. I am feeling much better now. I kind of feel like everything is clean and then I start a project, finish it and when I look around my house I am shocked by the choas that has accumulated in just a short while. Yesterday was definitely my day to rectify that situation. I am guessing though that the choas will come back this week, as I work on new projects.

Before I get into our tutorial today I wanted to tell you about a give-away going on over at Jills. It is for Yards and Yards. It is an etsy shop full of cute patterns and fabric. CHeck her out and you could win a free pattern. I never turn down the chance for free stuff and figured you guys wouldn't either:>

Also this Thursday we will be having Tasha from One Day at a Time. She has an awesome blog and I am excited to have her as a guest this week. She will be sharing a yummy summer recipe with us. Don't miss it. Her recipe has me drooling over summer and all the yumminess it encompasses. I love it!

Now onto our sewing quickie tute for today:

This is a 15 minute or less type of skirt. It is super quick and simple to make. You don't even have to hem it because the bottom of the pant legs are already hemmed. It is also great because you are using left over fabric, which I love.
Hope you guys get a chance to enjoy the warm weather outside, if you have some. We have an abundance. It is going to be 110 outside today. Yep it is going to be a hot one. I think we will be in need of some fun in the sun today. Spray grounds here we come:> Any who, Happy Sewing and I will see you tomorrow with a new Hair tute.
