Featured Friday: Women's Clothes

Sorry my feature Friday is a little late. Blogger wasn't my friend yesterday, but today we seem to be on better terms. I have been sewing a lot this week. I got tired of feeling like everything in my closet was ugly, does any once else feel that way sometimes? Well since I was hating everything in my closet, I had to make some new things for summer. I am going share later this month the cute projects I have been working on, but I do have one to share with you today before I get to the features. This one is not for my closet, but my ipod is thanking me nonetheless. Now it is enclosed in a cute, warm, ruffly hug.

I made this cozy for my ipod over the past week. I have been meaning to make one for like a year. I used the tutorial from Make it and Love it.  I am very excited about the result. I find my self just staring at my ipod now. I love the pink ruffles. Now I want to make a cozy for my phone and camera :>

Now that I have showed off how cute my ipod is...

Onto The Features.

I don't know if you know this about me, but I love fashion. I love especially looking at Modest Fashion blogs. They are great for inspiration. Nina, over at Momma go Round, has some great fashion tips for all us Moms. Her pictures are just too cute and her clothes are awesome! Check her out.

Her is a cute ruffle shirt from Pintucks and Ruffles. I love the stripes!

Jessica over at Me Sew Crazy is doing a Maternity sewing week. Now I am not pregnant, but I think this dress is too cute and I know I could make it for my non prego body.

I love the striped ruffles in this shirt, from Oakview Cottage. I have been following Cindy's blog for a while and her country kitchen and fabulous pictures keep me coming back to her blog. I love reading her blog and she is such a sweetie.

This cute summer skirt would be perfect for the hot 100+ temp here in Las Vegas
This one is from Morning by Morning Productions

I am not a huge pattern sewer. I tend to do only re-purposing, but I do love this shirt that Sarah made at Emmyloubeedoo!

I love smocking on skirts. I am not so great at it myself. The one time I tried it, the smocking came undone, while at church I might add. Thankfully I was wearing a long shirt and have wide hips to keep the skirt up.  Valerie from {boogaboo} Handmade made a smocked skirt, that has me wanting to bust out the elastic thread and try my hand at smocking again.

Kitty, at A Law Student's journey, has some great redo's for dresses. So cute!
This one is my fav though. I really have a thing for ruffles right now. I just can't get enough.

Here's another ruffled tee by Karen, at syzygy of me.

Here's another spring shirt, from a pattern. It is from Delilah at Love.Laugh.Sew

Oh and this one is probably my favorite. I found this one when I went through Delilah's older post, of sewing. Again ruffles, I know. I just can't help myself. Super CUTE!

So I don't know about you, but I am now inspired to go and sew up a storm of springy ruffles. I hope you all get a chance to check out these wonderful ladies and their projects. If you were featured please grab a button. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
