Zebra Bow Shirt Repurpose

This was another fun re-purposing project I did using my dress form, or as I lovingly call it "Dolores". The shirt was originally a men's XXL from the clearance section at Target. Man I love Target's Clearance section!

I put the shirt on Dolores inside out and pinned in the sides and the arms.
I then sewed and trimmed off the excess material.

For the bow I used New Look Kids Pattern 6576 bow embellishment .

I sewed it with the raw edge out. It did of course fry a little bit, when washed, but I think it makes it look 100 times cuter.

  2. So very cute! I'll have to remember to shop the men's clearance and ignore sizes since things can be taken up.
