I am thankful for good friends to laugh with.
And friends who surprise me with a yummy Sunday
breakfast for my family and I. These were so dang good Allison!
For little fingers counting action figures during math
The excitement over a first lost tooth.
and the phone calls to their best pals, to share the good news.
The smell of bread, straight from the oven.
With some butter and jelly, or nutella is just divine.
and for the look on my Bubba's face, when he reads a book
all by himself, for the first time.
"Wherefore, fear not even unto death; for in this world your joy is not full, but in me your joy is full" ( Doctrine and Covenants 101:36). I know it is in these little things that I can see the Lord's hand. I see his hand in providing my family with the things we need to have warm bread, straight out of the oven. He provides us with good friends to inspire and lift us up. He provides us with little hands and little smiles, to brighten each day. I am thankful for God's hand and how every day is brighter because I know he is watching over my family and I. I hope you take the time this week to search for God's hand. I know I am going to try much harder to see it this week. Hope your Monday is full of Sunshine!
