So here is my version of an itty bitty chef re-purposed apron. Above is a blue dress that Miss Priss just loved. It was one her Nana had gotten her, but unfortunately it had gotten to short for her to wear. I then had a fabulous idea of turning it into an apron for her. She loves playing with her kitchen set and I knew she could use another apron for when she is cooking with her babies.
Here is what I did:
1 --> I cut the dress in half. Meaning the portion you see now was originally the front of the dress. I then hemmed in the sides.
2 --> I added orange bias tape to the top to be the neck tie
3 --> I added more orange bias tape to make the tie around the waist.
This was a very simple re-purpose, which Miss Priss loves. She wore this apron all morning, while baking fabulous things with her baby dolls. I am thankful for a little girl, who is such a joy to sew for. She makes every project worth it when I see that smiling face
Have a Blessed Day!
Very cute apron!! My girls would love something just like that. I like the repurposing idea, something I want to do more of!
