Science Exploring: The Wind

I just wanted to quickly share a fun activity we did last week in science.

Last week we talked about the wind. We made a maze to blow items through.

We took out our mega blocks and made a maze on the coffee table. They made different dead ends. The goal was to get their objects to the water bottle. We used cotton balls, Q-tips, brads, and small squared blocks. We predicted which one would go through the quickest. They then tried to beat their own times.

We used straws to blow through.

This was such a fun activity to do together. The kids totally did not get sick of it.  As you can tell from their pajamas they kept on blowing objects through the maze they made, even up until bedtime. I loved it when Bubba got very matter of fact in telling us different ways you could position the straw to make the air flow through it faster. I love it when they figure cool stuff out like that. So Go Bubba for trying and trying again:> Well that is all for me today....

Have a Blessed Day!
