I can't believe it is already the end of another month. I am absolutely ready for the Christmas season. I look forward to this month once Halloween is over. It is be far my most favorite time of year. I love the decorating, the crafts, the movies, the books, I mean literally everything. I love how everyone is a little nicer to one another. It is wonderful to have this month to reflect on the wonderful birth of the Savior. With all of this wonderful goodness that encompasses this month, I like to really try to enjoy all aspects of this holiday season with my family. One way we do this is through books. Here is our book list for this month. Some will correlate with our Christmas ABC's, which I plan to post later this week. Enjoy reading with your littles!

I can't even begin to tell you how special I find reading our children Christmas stories. It makes me feel so warm and festive...and at the same time, that I'm passing on family traditions to them. So wonderful.

I see a few on your list that I don't have. When my children were small I began collecting Christmas stories, books and even stories from family. I have a big collection. Each year my mother gives me a new book to add to it. Even my older children will still gather round to listen as I read a story each night through out the Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteI love your list and I requested several of them... one of our new favorites is Humphrey's First Christmas. It's funny and sweet... we all liked it!
