Father's Day Weekend 2010

 "He didn't tell me how to live, He lived and let me watch him do it"

To start off Father's Day weekend. My husband's side of the family all met together for a potluck dinner. We then went out to the Veteran's Memorial to visit my fatherinlaw's grave. This has become a tradition for us and it is such a great time to spend sharing stories about Damian and we always watch a slide show with pictures from his life. We then had Key Lime pie, which was one of his favorite desserts. Oh and sorry in advance. Below is a total picture overload:

By the end Miss Kelsie had some crazy hair

Having Uncle toss them into the air seemed like fun to everyone. They all stood in line waiting their turn. It was so cute!


Then on Sunday we had a special breakfast for my hubby and then went to church. After we ventured  over to my parents for a yummy dinner of porkchops.

It was a great weekend spent honoring the fathers in our life. I am thankful for my fatherinlaw and the example he was to my husband. He made him the man he is to day. I am thankful to my dad for always being there. He is the strong silent type and I am thankful for all he does and the example he is to me. I am thankful to my husband. Jason you are the answer to my prayers. Your are my eternal companion and I am forever grateful to have you in my life. You are an amazing father, husband, friend and I love you!
