Here is a yummy recipe that Miss Priss, Bubba, and myself love. We love anything with chocolate and bananas, so this cookie recipe is right up our alley. I hope you guys are able to try it out and enjoy it as much as we do
Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/3 cup butter (I used salted regular)
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup mashed bananas (1 large)
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Cream together butter and sugars. Add bananas, egg, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by mounded scoops onto greased cookie sheet. (I like to line them with aluminium foil makes cleanup ten times easier) Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes. Makes about 18 cookies.
Just to share how messy of a baker I can be :) I hope I am not alone in this fact :) I promise I clean up afterwards though.
Once cookies are all done pour a cold glass of milk and enjoy some yummy cookies fresh out of oven
