The weather in my neck of the woods:
very windy it looks like it might rain today.
One of my simple pleasures:
a nice warm bubble bath. No wonder kids love baths so much they are so relaxing :>
On my bedside table:
Seaside Letters by Denise Hunter
Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
and some Nora Roberts books
On my TV:
nothing it is still quiet
On the menu for tonight:
leftover night....meatloaf sandwiches with sweet potato pie and some veggies.
On my To Do List:
make breakfast for our whole family (my hubbys brother is in town))
Schooling
work on Christmas gifts/crafts
New Recipe I tried last week:
I tried out pumpkin waffles, which were so yummy. I am going to post the recipe later this week.
In the craft basket:
still to much but specifically I want to do my family's Christmas pajamas this week or at least have the fabric cut out.
Looking forward to:
spending the week with family
Homemaking Tip for this week:
do recipe swaps with friends. They are so much fun and you get to find out about recipes that you would never have tried otherwise.
Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
no favorites this week
On my Prayer List:
my family;
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Prayer is really the key
Please stop by and visit Sandra to see what other Happy Homemakers are up to. Have a great Monday!
XO Danielle
