Monica has had some Embracing Childhood Posts on her blog and I just love them. When I first saw her post it made me reflect and wonder if I was really embracing childhood with my children. They are only going to be this little once and I don't want to miss out because I am cleaning or busy with other things. I do think it is a very hard act to balance (which I struggle with each day), but I don't want to look back years from now wondering where the time went and all the memories we could have made together. I know I am very fortunate to be able to stay home with my little ones and I want to enjoy every minute.
Now going along with embracing childhood Libby asked me to go on a walk with her last week and so we did. She brought her babies in her little stroller and we walked down to the park. She even brought "baby snacks" for them, which she did give them on the way home. It was such a sweet time with my little girl. We were able to talk and laugh together and I am thankful for the time Heavenly Father gives me with my children each day.
