Hello ladies and gents of Blissful and Domestic! My name is Kelly and my little corner of the fabulous bloggy world can be found at live.laugh.rowe. Please stop on over and say hello... there are some pretty incredible things going on that I wouldn't want you to miss out on {wink}. Here is what we'll be making today!! Thumbprint Valentine's. Aren't they the cutest?
I've been wanting to do something with thumbprints for awhile now, and it's all been inspired by this fun book called Ed Emberley's Great Thumbprint Drawing Book. I've had this book for years, I just can't seem to let it go. Funny enough, when I Googled books title, all of the covers were completely different. Made me wonder if mine was some kind of first edition or something. I don't know -- but what I do know is that it's a stinking cute book. Fun for everyone. {insert cheering crowd here}
This is what my book looks like {kinda makes ya smile}:
A simple thumbprint Valentine's Day card. I'm even providing you with a printable so all your really need to do is provide your thumbprint. Yay! There is nothing quite like having one step of the process being simplified a bit for you, right? Anywho, let's see what supplies we'll need:
Scissors
Red Ink Pad
Round Corner Punch (optional)
Cutting Board (also optional if you prefer scissors)
Thin Black Marker
Printer and Card Stock Paper
All set? First and foremost, let's take a look at the printable. After printing this handy dandy template, we're all set to go!

Below is what you'll be thumbprinting. As you can see, each image/character has anywhere from 1-3 thumbprints. The sky is the limit if you choose to make your cards too -- let those creative juices flow. If you enjoy drawing or doodling, you'll enjoy this little project.
Last but not least -- cut your cards out and voila! Thanks for having me, Danielle -- it was super tweet of you and I had roaring good time hanging out here with all of you {hugs to all}.
Cheers!
Kelly
