Cookie Addition is a fun activity I found in a Mailbox magazine I checked out from the library. I probably could have made this look tons better, but at 11:00 pm last night I really just wanted to quickly make this game, so we had something new and interesting to do today in math. Well this is what I did:
I took 2 sheets of foam and cut out circles. I then drew circles on each cookie. This made my cookies become chocolate chips (just incase you couldn't tell :>) I have cookies with chips from 2-10. I gave each of my littles an addtion card and then they would place the card under the cookie that coordinated with the answer to the addition problem. This was a fun alternative to just doing a worksheet.
Well thats all for me today. I now must share my computer time with Miss Priss and Bubba
