Home School: The Tiny Seed

For Art last week we did things a little differently. We had a theme. We read the Tiny Seed and here are a few of the art projects we did to go along with the book:

We made BIG flowers that we delivered to GG Grandma (my grandma)

Made some cute flowers out of muffin cups and M&Ms

We also worked on sponge painting

sometimes things got a little messy

Having a book to go along with our art time was fun. We would read the book first and then would talk about the pictures. We talked about how Eric Carle specifically likes to paint. I think it was a fun week of learning and creating.

Have a Blessed Day!

  1. Looks like fun. My oldeest would have loved to join you guys as painting is her favorite activity!
Love the muffin linr/m&m activity - not sure how you got your kids to actually put the candies in the papers. When I've tried to do activities with candy, they just want to eat it and forget the project!
