Countdown to Halloween: Part 2

For Part 2 of our Countdown to Halloween I was inspired by another blog I happened upon yesterday. It is called Brown Paper Packages. This is such a neat blog written by two friends. It is full of some fun craft ideas (some we will be doing this month during our countdown to Halloween). On Kierste's blog she has a countdown to Halloween only she does it through books. I loved this idea. I took her booklist and went onto my libraries website and began requesting a lot of the books. We will start off the month with the books we have at home and then as the rest come in at the library we will spend some time each day and enjoy them. I am very excited to do this countdown. My children love Halloween and everything to do with it. I am totally embracing the holiday this year. I can't wait! :>

  1. I love this idea! We've done the book countdown for Christmas, but never for Halloween. There are so many fun Halloween books, though, I think I'll steal this! Thanks!

  3. Danielle,

How is homeschooling going? I talked to Jonelle today and she said she was waiting for you to tell her for sure if you were going to homeschool. I told her you are so she is putting you on the loop. Look for it soon.
Take care and hopefully we will see you soon.
