Preschool: Airplanes

My goal this summer is to just have fun with my kiddos. I don't believe that learning should just stop in the summer, but that you should have more relaxed fun exploring with the littles. To start off the summer I went with an airplane theme. We read some books on airplanes and even tried making some out of Popsicle sticks. (The kids still play with them). We also watched a movie all about airplanes we got at the library. Bubba loves the "All about" series. To end our week we went out to Nellis Air Force Base and had a picnic. They have a neat area by a playground where they have old airplanes set and the kids loved being able to see them. We read some stories, while we ate. Made paper airplanes and then played on the playground. It was a fun afternoon and I am thankful I got to spend it with the two cutest redheads around :)
