Preschool: Colors and Shapes

A great thing we do to help Miss Priss and Bubba with their shapes is we play Perfection. I use the timer for bubba, but not for Miss Priss, since it still takes her longer to fit all her pieces in. This has helped them  a lot with their shapes and sizes of shapes. We also did a great color activity.

We also have been learning how the three primary colors make all the other colors and I wanted to to be able to have them mix the paints with their hands, but I was not looking forward to the mess. So I put some paint on a plate, covered it with clear wrap and let them mix away. It was very cool seeing the colors blend and change. Here are just a few things we have been doing lately. What fun activities have you been doing lately?
